Berean Park

HLD was a consultant to the Town of Lloyd’s Recreation Department for proposed grading and drainage improvements within the Town’s Berean Park. The project involved the installation of a new retaining wall, re-surfacing of the parking facilities to serve the park, and related drainage improvements via installation of a bioswale to mitigate a previously perpetual erosion problem within the park and the beach area. The project required preparation of design plans and a complete bid/specification package consistent with General Municipal Section 103. HLD prepared the design plans for the improvements, was responsible for preparation of the entire bid package including necessary addenda, was responsible for contract administration and provided construction support services. Construction was started and completed in 2012.
