Mirbeau Inn & Spa at Beacon

HLD provided site civil design for the property currently known as the Howland Mansion property. The project consists of the renovation and adaptive re-use of the existing Mansion located on the property, demolition of the former hospital wing to allow for construction of Chateau Hotel and Spa wing. The mansion will be renovated to provide additional rooms for overnight lodging, underground grotto rooms, a dining room and accommodations for the hotel and spa. The interior courtyard in between the mansion and the hotel wing will contain an aqua terrace overlooking Monet Ponds and gardens. New water, sewer and stormwater infrastructure will be constructed in addition to landscaping and other general improvements. The project was recently approved by the City of Beacon. Construction began in 2023 and is ongoing.
