1 East Main Street

HLD prepared construction drawings for an existing industrial site located across East Main Street from the Roundhouse at Beacon Falls project. This project is also located at the intersection of Main Street, East Main Street and Fishkill Creek in the City of Beacon, NY. The project consisted of the renovation and adaptive re-use of an existing 5-story building and a 3-story building located on the premises. The 5-story building was renovated to include residential apartments on the top four floors and retail/commercial space on the ground floor. The 3-story building was improved for Hudson Valley Brewery. The civil design consisted of a new City-owned water main, a stormwater management/treatment system, and associated stormwater conveyance system. The project also included an extension of the City's Fishkill Creek Greenway & Heritage Trail through the site that links up with the greenway trail at the Round House development project to the north, and 3 Churchill Project to the south.
