Hudson Land Design, P.C. (HLD) maintains complete and comprehensive Windows® based analysis tools for design and presentation. Integrated computer aided design and drafting tools permit several evaluations to be made at minimal cost. Access to Geographic Information System (GIS) data and in-house mapping allows the firm to provide feasibility studies to their clients while considering the various environmental constraints that affect land development. This often results in cost savings to their clients before they expend monies on services that may otherwise be deemed unnecessary.

HLD personnel are proficient in computer programs such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Land Desktop Development (LDD), HydroCAD, Hydraflow Storm Sewers, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat, ArcGIS and various other design and modeling tools that help lower a project’s bottom line expense.

HLD also utilizes a high-speed, high-resolution large format printer for in-house reproduction of project plan sets, including aerial photograph overlays, at optimum quality for submittal and presentation to the various regulatory agencies responsible for permitting the firm’s projects. The printer is also capable of producing government filing quality mylars for purposes of recording approved plans with the local governing authority.
